Acceptance of Terms
By installing the Got A Sale WordPress plugin or creating a Got A Sale account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Service Description
Got A Sale is a notification and order management service for WooCommerce and Shopify stores. It delivers real-time order notifications to Telegram, Discord, webhook endpoints, and browser push subscriptions. The service also provides a mobile web application for viewing live order data, updating order statuses, and managing fulfillment from your phone.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.
Account Terms
- The free tier does not require an account. Paid tiers require a valid email address and payment method.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, site tokens, and API keys.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- One person or legal entity may maintain multiple accounts, but each store should use a single site token.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to transmit illegal content
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, destination limits, or tier restrictions
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the server-side service
- Resell or redistribute access to the service without permission
- Send spam or unsolicited messages through connected notification destinations
Fair Use Policy
Plans described as "unlimited" are subject to a fair use policy to ensure consistent service quality for all users.
- The service is designed for normal WooCommerce store operations — not bulk or automated order generation
- We reserve the right to contact you if your usage significantly exceeds typical patterns for your plan tier
- If usage impacts service performance for other users, we may ask you to reduce usage or upgrade to a custom plan
- We will always attempt to work with you before taking any action on your account
Payment Terms
- Paid plans (Pro and Agency) are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe.
- All prices are in USD. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact help@gotasale.io for refund requests.
Intellectual Property
The Got A Sale WordPress plugin is licensed under the GPLv2 or later. The Got A Sale server-side service, web application, branding, and documentation are proprietary and owned by Got A Sale.
You retain all rights to your store data. We claim no ownership over your order data, customer information, or store content.
Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Got A Sale is not liable for:
- Missed or delayed notifications due to third-party service outages (Telegram, Discord, etc.)
- Data loss resulting from WooCommerce API changes or store misconfiguration
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these terms. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the plugin and cancelling any active subscription.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
